Any vet that would diagnose by just looking at something, or order unnecessary extractions is not a person that I want treating my animals. Beware of this place.

Race Track is slightly more expensive than your average shot clinic, but you get extensive one-on-one consultation for your animals and free post-vaccine care. Sami was under the weather after a vaccine and was vomiting,so I was advised to bring her back in.

Moved to Saint Johns a few months ago with several cats and two dogs.I was in need of some flea and heart worm medication so I went to Race Track as they were the closest. The vet on duty was Dr.Paschall along with the vet tech Stephanie.

This vet is under new ownership and they are awesome. They were very kind to our dog and did not nickel and dime us, like so many other vets do. Very accommodating and we will be taking all three of our animals here.

I have been going to this Vet for a couple of years. It was more out of convenience since they are so close to my house, but honestly they are just ok. They really don't have the passion when it comes to taking care of our pets. I do not see a lot of excitement and just having fun with my pets when I bring them in. I made an appointment for this morning to come in. When I came in they said the vet was running 15 minutes late. From prior experience I have sat for a good 30 to 45 minutes after an appointment before I am in a sitting room. They could have at least called an giving me the heads up that they vet would not be on time. I just left since I could not stay or I would have been late for work. I will no longer be going to this vet

They showed me which medications would be the best for my animals and took the time to go into detail about the proper usage and dosage for each animal. They also recommended a new food and feeding plan,as one of the dogs could stand to lose some weight. After two months of the new plan,Sami has lost 2.5 pounds!

We took my dog to a new Vet last Saturday. He looked at his teeth & said that there were no issues whatsoever. He also looked at the two lumps & discovered that they were ingrown hairs. He then asked about a cyst that my dog had on his torso. I stated that Race Track had told me that it was just a lipoma. He then asked if they had biopsied it. The answer was "no". He said that you NEVER know just by looking at something. We decided that we should have it removed & sent off. When the vet was doing this surgery, he found another lump that Race Track missed & removed that as well. We decided to have his teeth cleaned being that he would be under anyways. We sent the lumps off to the lab. The entire bill came to $553.00.

Race Track monitored her for the rest of the day at no charge to make sure she was OK.She was fine after that and I appreciated the extra care and attention given to my animals! Great facility!

I spent lots of money on blood work and monitoring over a year with them. They misdiagnosed my dog and said he had a thyroid problem. He woke up blind and after seeing him the vet told me to take him to an eye doctor. As soon as I got my dog over to the eye doctor, they knew. They said my vet should've tested him for diabetes. My dog could have lived longer if they would've taken the time. Thousands of dollars that I spent meant nothing to losing my best friend.

I started taking my dogs to this clinic when I had just moved into town, due to its proximity to where I live. In June of 2013, I took my almost 10 year old dog in for an office visit. At that time, the vet looked him over & stated that he had "the best teeth of any dog she has seen at that age." About two weeks ago, we took the same dog in to have two pea sized lumps looked at. He has had lipomas in the past & we just always want to be safe. The SAME VET looked at the lumps & then checked out his teeth. She stated that he had "severe gingivitis, needed extractions & a deep cleaning". We were shocked that his teeth could go from great to horrible in just 4 months. We asked for a quote for the cleaning, extractions & lump removal. The quote came in at over $1,200.00. I decided that we needed a second opinion.
