Publix is okay I'm spoiled by the prices and quality at Aldi's. The meets are unbelievable antibiotic and hormone-free whole chickens for $0.99 a pound and skinless boneless chicken breast for a 1.49 a pound aside from salad is a third of the price for organic and many items were not priced when I was in the store the bulky bags of chips no prices anywhere and employee couldn't even find a price. A customer service as excellent employees really care.
Good clean store with lots of fresh, smiling faces to tend to your needs. Got sliced meat in the deli and that fellow was very pleasant, as were the cashier and bagger on my way out the door. BOGO sales throughout the store and on $84.49 I saved $25.93. Thank you, Publix!
Just called and talked to a guy at the bakery. He was very rude and unpleasant. I am calling short notice desperate for some cupcakes for my child party in elementary school tomorrow. However, there is no reason to be rude. Anything I asked him, he required me to repeat myself over again as if I was speaking an alien language. And then letting me know how the bakers have gone home, and their work structure. I asked him to check the floor because I was looking for loud colors like yellow, red, etc. He says "I can't see them from here" .. talks to few other customers on the floor .. and then says "hold on! We're kinda busy here!", I offered to call him back, but he already set the phone down. The fact that you are short staffed is not my concern like you are not a concern on my cupcake situation. There is no harm in not being able to accommodate my request for tomrrow.. but there is a better way of communicating it. Apparently, the bakery department in Deerwood Village had a different approach and accommodated my request in 3 minutes. That Publix is out of my way, however, their customer service skills and tact is what Publix brand is all about. He should take some training classes from Deerwood.
Great place to shop. Where most of the staff knows your name. If they don't have it they will get it and if you're unhappy they'll do everything to make you satisfied.
The Publix Bakery provided the wedding cake for our wedding ceremony and they did an incredible job! The cake not only looked phenomenal but it tasted fantastic! It was better that my wife and I ever could have dreamed! The staff was very friendly and professional! Our wedding was a destination wedding and we were only able to visit once prior to the wedding. The bakery provided us with a cake tasting at no cost and we were able to communicate over the phone exactly what we wanted! We were nervous having so little interaction with the bakers but they exceeded our expectations greatly! They also helped secretly bake a grooms cake that was Star Wars themed that looked amazing and was also delicious! We received so many wonderful compliments about both cakes! My wife and I highly recommend Publix bakery!
